Just finished watching The Hurt Locker. I remember when it won all those Oscars and everyone was like 'WTF, why Avatar didn't win?' Well, now I get it. :)

For me, watching it was pretty intense. I worried about the characters. A lot. Especially the main character 'cause you know, Jeremy Renner. :D

The camera is pretty shaky and wild and I usually don't like it, but this time it felt right because it wasn't just for show, it drew me into the story even more, made it more realistic.

I liked that it wasn't a promotional movie for army. Quite opposite. It showed how fucked up it all is and how it can fuck up people's lives.

As for Jeremy. He's TOTALLY BRILLIANT ACTOR and the Oscar nomination was WELL DESERVED!

Simply, if you haven't seen the movie, I really recommend it. :)
